About Us

Sergents are a well-established practice with over 35 years experience in the industry. We are based in Prescot on the outskirts of Liverpool on the M57/M62 corridor.

We have a client base which extends the length and breadth of the UK. We provide our services to many types of businesses including start-ups and small companies through to medium and large enterprises.

Our clients are predominantly owner managed businesses most of whom do not have in-house qualified financial expertise. It is our aim to assist our clients in filling any knowledge gap and provide the level of support required, great or small, to each business according to their need. We understand the challenges that face family businesses; after all, we are one ourselves!

We are entirely flexible in our approach, and have provided support on an ongoing basis for many years to some clients, and as sick cover for a matter of a few days to other clients.

We are pleased to have dealt with several generations of the same families over the years.

Having set up our own business from scratch in the late 1990’s we have first hand experience of the challenge facing start-up businesses and gives us the advantage of having experienced those same challenges ourselves.

We are adept in helping your business grow and face the challenges your business has as well as developing it into a successful operation.  We pride ourselves in providing a fast, efficient and friendly service.

At Sergents, we are totally committed to providing our clients with a service tailored to their individual needs.  We keep track of all the essentials for you and with our experience in dealing with family run businesses; we are able to provide advice on how to add value to your personal, business or family finance.
